Hi there!
Long time no blog. I'm back with a tiny teeny nail polish haul to share with you.
The Essie polishes that I have are as follows:
> Nice is Nice(cream no shimmer)- Pastel pale lavender with a touch of pink (Think OPI Rumples Wiggin' or Lucky Lucky Lavender. but a little bit brighter)
Essie Nice is Nice and OPI Rumple's Wiggin'- I don't have Lucky Lucky Lavender, but I saw swatches and it's a very close dupe
Essie French Affair and OPI Mod About You.
Last 2 fingers- Essie French Affair
Essie Coat Azure and OPI No Room for the Blue
Last 2 fingers- Essie Coat Azure
Conclusion: Amongst the 3, Coat Azure is my favorite because the formula is amazing and it is not streaky- needs only 2 coat for the perfect look. Both Nice is Nice and French Affair are perfect for spring and the finish result is pretty, but application for these are a little bit tricky and they need at least 3 coats.
Hope you guys enjoyed this post.
Did you purchase any Essie French Affair collection polishes? If so, how do you like them?
Sorry for the lack of blogging, but I have lots of hauls to come and that means that my bank account is going down the drain. Yikes!
Don't forget my giveaway :)

Great post! I missed your blogging(:
ReplyDeleteI adore the essie polishes! Been hunting for pastel colours!
ReplyDelete@Sarah- aww thank you. You just made my day <3 haha
ReplyDelete@che- Be careful with pastel colors because they are a bit tricky to work with. :)
I love Essie colors, but the formula never lasts more than a day and a half on me! It seems ridiculous to pay so much for a polish that I have to take off a day after I painted my nails. I much prefer O.P.I.'s formula. Even Revlon, Rimmel, and Wet 'n Wild last longer on me than Essie.
ReplyDeletei love them! the first 2 especially!
ReplyDeletethose are such great Essie colors.
ReplyDeletei am interested in picking that up myself.
@Poorcollegestudent- Really? I find Essie formula better than OPI. Haha I think it depends on you nails. :)
ReplyDelete@ MSodapop- I love the finish result, but I hate the formula and it is super streaky and hard to apply.
@Alexis- You should! I recommend checking out the nude I think its Kisses and Bisses. I will buy that polish soon if they still have it, but I really like Coat Azure the best!! :)
ReplyDeletewow not digging the new essie design, especially the name on the tops of the bottle. I get my polishes from Nailetc on amazon, they ship to canada and their prices are very good, get a lot of my mini sets from them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the swatches, I may pass completely on this collection since I have a lot of the dupes that you listed here. :)

ReplyDelete5 nail polishes for the entire year? I'd go crazy!! I'm lucky if I can limit to 5 a month :/
ReplyDeleteI also agree with Justine, I prefer the old Essie bottles. They're more aesthetically pleasing. But the shades seem cute!
I definitely like the pink one!
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised that the blue shade is so light on your nails. From the bottle it looks like it would be darker with a bit more grey. Looking forward to your hauls!
ReplyDeleteCute! I saw these at CVS but didn't get any, but I might have to get the blue one! :)
ReplyDelete@productrater- I don't mind the new Essie packaging. I should check that site out. Thank you :)
ReplyDelete@reeree- Haha I have a ridiculous amoint of polishes! I need to limit myself :p
@Yen- I like the pink one too, but it is VERY HARD to apple
ReplyDelete@Tracy D- It is darker in the bottle, but this one is my fave! x
@LipGlossGossip- Get the blue one! It's nice and def a staple for spring :)
