A Rant About A Holy Grail Product

This is so contradicting isn't it?

Well, it's because of a product called Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

Yes, I dedicated a post about this a few months ago and I use this every single time I do my nails because it...

1. Gives a shine
2. Hardens the polish
3. Helps my polish not to chip for about 5 days
4. It is inexpensive.
5. You can get this product anywhere and everywhere (drugstores, salons, etc.)
6. People raves about this product and it never ends.

I have a love-hate relationship with Seche Vite. I STILL do love it and I will repurchase this product over and over again until I find a better one, but I have reasons why I don't.

1. Sometimes, I'm a lazy girl who can't grab a base coat and what I will do is apply Seche Vite on bare nails, which leads to polish chipping off after a day. I know Seche Vite is not a base coat and I have learned my lesson.

2. Drugstore here in Canada sells them for $11-$15. So to my fellow Canadians, sorry, but that's how it works. *sigh*

3. I NEVER finish one bottle! NEVER. Why? well just see for yourself.
it becomes murky. I know it is normal for a clear polish to look like this...but wait...

Can you guys see the wand? It's nasty

sticky, goopy and really hard to work with because it gets REALLY THICK.

Eventhough I'm ranting about Seche Vite right now, I still recommend you to get this top coat. You may need the Seche Restore- I do not have this product, but I will purchase this soon when I head down to America. I heard this helps the Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat or any other polish not to be goopy and thick. have you heard about this? if you have it, is it true and is it worth the money?

I will still keep this bottle because I want to try if the Seche Restore really works, but I can't use this for now. I have a back-up tho, so don't worry. :)

Bashing and Trash Talking on Beauty Gurus

No guys! I'm not here to bash on beauty gurus, but I'm doing the opposite

I know a lot of you heard about the website where you can bash and trash talk Youtube beauty gurus right? If not here it is- http://gurugossip.omgforum.net/ and http://unkn0wncritic.blogspot.com/

I know there are a lot of websites that trash talk YT gurus..

First of all...

I'm not a Youtube guru.

and people who write and comment on these website are jealous of them. Please mind your own business and stop bashing on bloggers and Youtube gurus. They didn't join the beauty community to brag about what they have or what they know about, but because they want to help other people gain more knowledge about make-up.

I know companies send them products to review, but who are you to judge whether or not they are telling the truth or not? That's their business and if they are not telling the truth just leave them alone. They do not call companies or contact them to send them products, so who are you to tell them what they need to do.

I don't know how these people(who write and comment on these harsh websites) know so many things about these gurus. I don't know about you, but it's scaring me that's for sure. I know they do a "follow-me-around" videos, that's because a lot of people likes to know(including me) what they are doing on their spare time and this doesn't mean that you can rip and tear them down. They love what they're doing and that's whats important right? They have the right of speech and freedom to do whatever they like. So if they want to show their new car, show their boyfriend to the whole world or buy expensive luxury things, just appreciate it.

About their physical appearance..I read a lot of harsh comments about how gurus look like. Are you guys really serious..that's really really shallow. God made everyone unique and different, so don't criticize them on how they look like because that's very immature of you. So what if they have bad skin, flawless skin, big eyes, small eyes, long face, long chin, or if they photoshop their photos or not...love them for who they are and always remember that NO ONE IS PERFECT. So what if they lie about their real name, or how old they are, or if they go to school or not..that's their life and they can hide their profile because they know eventually, these things will happen to them.

Don't get mad at them if they didn't reply to your comment and start hating on them. They receive thousands of emails everyday and who can answer all of those emails in one day!? I know I can't because I have better things to do than replying to harsh comments.

Don't bash on them if they deleted their previous or all of their videos because that's their right and it's their YT channel okay? I know they are doing this because there are a lot of harsh comments and haters out there. I understand their point.

There are a lot of YT gurus who quite making YT videos, don't get mad at them, but just understand what they are going thru in life. They have better things to do and sometimes they just have to move on because it is for the better.

Just put yourself on their spot and think about what they are going through. It is scary and disappointing to know they there are people out there who hate you and they haven't even met you before. They have the guts to talk about your family and private matters.

To all YT beauty gurus and bloggers out there who read this:

I really look up on you because you guys stay strong and you don't fight back. I know there are a lot of haters out there, but just stand still on the ground and ignore anything they say. You guys have supporters and subscribers who will be there for you no matter what. I bet, more than half of your subscribers and followers support you because they love what you are doing and they will always watch your videos no matter what. We understand what you guys are going through, just hang on tight and don't let haters bring you down. As long as you know that you are doing the right thing, just push thru with it because there are a lot of people who appreciate what you guys are doing.
