I'm A Blush Whore

Can someone stop me? I have a bad addiction when it comes to blushes...and lipsticks.

I bought these guys from cherryculture.com which I know you are all familiar with. They have great customer service and the blushes arrived within two weeks. Great job Cherry Culture! Very impressive. I really recommend checking the site out They carry a lot of affordable brands such as Milani, Sinful Colors, and NYX.

Say hello to my newly acquired NYX blushes- I bought 5 powder and 2 cream blushes.

I have a photo of me wearing NYX Espresso on my cheeks with a little MAC Strobe lotion as a highlight. Espresso is warming, and it bring your cheeks out. 

So all in all, my favorite is Mauve and Espresso.

By the way, Peach isn't a peach shade at all..well maybe a little bit, but it's more of a light pink. Think MAC Well Dressed without the silver flecks.


I love how it looks on my cheeks because I own a lot of cool-toned blushes already, so a little change is good right? I'm happy that got these two babies from NYX.

I have a vintage MAC eyeshadow.

Yes. this shadow is legit- I searched it up!

No. This shadow isn't expired- not chalky, not flaky.

I don't know what took me so long to blog about this, but whatever it's here and let me show the "treasure" with you. I use this shadow for crease color, for the upper lashline and lower lashline. I don't know from how many years ago this shadow was, but probably around 8 years ago? or even more?

MAC Quite Cute collection

Quite Cute I must say

Did you come here cuz you thought this is a haul? It isn't. Sorry, but I will be sharing with you what I will be gettng on Thursday when MAC Quite Cute collection launches. Being a makeup junkie isnt easy, not easy at all. You ask why? well... simple. It's not good for the bank account. Who agrees with me? I bet you all do because it's really hard to control the need of new makeup, especially when everyones talking about them.

The promo picture is stunning and quite(there's that word again) unique and preppy. When I first saw the photos of this collection from Temptalia.com, I got giddy and excited and told myself that this will be the ONLY collection I will purchase for the month of APRIL. I do want to get some YSL and the new Channel Coco Rouge Shine lipsticks, but no! I need to stop the temptation.

So I will try to budget and choose wisely.

> Girl Loves - bright blue pink - I'm currently doing LipglossOUT 2011, but I might purchase one plushglass. Can't say no to plushglass because it is my favorite formula out of the three MAC glosses

Lip Pencil (CAD $15.50)
> Naked- neutral - I don't own ANY lip pencil NONE! This will be my first one.

Mineralized Blush( CAD $27.50)
> Giggly- light pink with a lavender heart - Im not sure about this, I'm not a huge fan of the little heart design in the middle, but I do like the shade, so I'll be checking this out in person first.

Nail Polish(CAD $17.00)
> Mischievous- creamy mint - Do I need this? I have tons of creamy mint polishes. I will see it in person first.

So my total will be around CAD $120, but If I don't get the mineralized blush and the nail polish it will be around CAD $75 PLUS TAX! I gotta think think think!

Bedroom Decor Ideas

Or maybe just an idea not ideaS

Okay here's a short story.

I was organizing/cleaning my room earlier and thought about decorating it. What I mean about decorating is not to paint my entire room, but just to hang up something above my bed, add some lights, and some throw pillow perhaps. The problem here is that I don't know what to do and where I can find some bedroom decors. I know there's IKEA, Walmart, and all those furniture stores, but I want something unique...something that will make me smile everytime I look at it. I live in Canada, so no Target(which I know they carry affordable bedroom decors).

Etsy might be my best bet right now because you can find pretty yet affordable room decors there. Oh who am I kidding? You can find anything at Etsy.

I stumbled across this seller- Project3Designs(Sam Ho) and found some pretty vinyl stickers that I can stick on my wall, but the questions here are... Will the vinyl stickers stick for a long time?If I want to remove them will there be any marks on my wall? Will it be worth the money? Will it look good?

I'm not in a hurry and will do this slowly, but surely. I'm not sure if I like the vinyl stickers idea, but I think it will look good. I'm going for quotation stickers and I have some photos to show you. Tell me if you like them or not. I'm scared that I might get sick of them, but guess it's worth the try.

This is my first pick. The ever famous quote from Coco Chanel :) Very girly and classy I must say.

I love this quotation(picture below) I think I will live by this quote. HAHA

For the month of April I will...

I will just do this in bullet form. I know, this might be a tad bit boring, but hey it's a Sunday... A LAZY SUNDAY!

> Eating healthy- YEAP! I will! I swear I will! I've been eating junk lately which is so bad, but I'm willing to change uhm..that junk food habit of mine. I went to the grocery last night and bought some yogurt, flax seed, protein shakes, fruits, and....wait for this... BROWN RICE. Wow Kim bought brown rice! I bought Quinoa (keen-wah) rice- this is a healthy alternative to rice, a high protein, nutrient-packed grain(seed). Quinoa is mildly flavored and very easy to digest. I tried this before and I didn't like it, but I HAVE to get used to it.

> Get toned- Hello!? Summer is coming and that means bikini season. My 5"2, 114 lbs body needs to get toned! I'm not saying that I need to be skinnier, but I need a toned body. I'm going to California with my family. Hooray! So any recommended places to go are very much welcome. I'm going to Portland, Los Angeles, and then Vegas, so a toned body is much needed.

> Saving money and being practical- I know, I know I need to be doing this every single day of my life, but I try. I trust me, I do. I promise to myself that I will just get MAC Quite Cute collection for this month and THAT'S IT! No NARS(oh God, please help me because I really want to purchase Sin and Mounia blush), No Urban Decay(I so want their new pencil shadows and the new UD primer potions), and finally No Chanel(Have you guys seen the Rouge Coco Shine lipsticks? UGH it's gorgeous) BUT I WON'T! NO buying Kim. NO!

> I will watch ALL seasons of How I met Your Mother- That show is AWESOME! Oh, my favorite characters are Barney and Lily :)

> I will blog 25 times this month- I will be on vacation on May, so I need to blog a lot this month. By the way, I envy those blogs with super good quality pictures. I want to purchase and invest on a SLR camera so I can take good pictures of FOTDs and OOTDs. The main problem right now with my Panasonic camera is that I cannot give you a clear and decent photo of my eye makeup, which I HATE.

Phew, done with that.

Well, those are my plans this month and I will update you guys if anything fails or something. I hope I can do the healthy eating and toned body part.

Hair Envy

Who else but Miss Lauren Conrad.

I just can't state how much I envy her..uhm EVERYTHIN! Lets see...She's an author, fashion designer, actress, and most of all the most simple and well behaved lady in Hollywood. Okay, well there's Hilary Duff who I also adore, but Lauren Conrad dresses up so effortless and still looks chic and sophisticated at the same time. Did I say her boyfriend is a hockey player? UGH envious much.

Anyways, I wanted to ask you who is/are your favorite Hollywood star? I'm really curious :)

Her HAIR...speechless. Come on just look at her I love her hair whether her hair is curled up, pinned, braided, or straightened.

P.S. I have OPI Lucky Lucky Lavender on my nails. I was actually tweeting about how it didn't chip on me for 4 days. I have lots of OPI polishes, but they chip off after 2 days. Very impressive Lucky Lucky Lavender because of that, you will be my spring nail polish :)
