'Tis The Season

'Tis the season to light up some holiday candles from Bath and Body Works.

I'm obsessed with candles I don't know why, but there's just something about them that makes me really happy. I know guys I'm really shallow.

So I went to the mall yesterday planning to purchase some bras(double push-ups!) and underwears from La Senza. I did spent $120 something at La Senza, but whilst walking around the mall, I saw Bath and Body Works having a 2 for $25 for their 3 wick candles(Hooray!!), so duh...I went in their store and spent more money- bought 4 candles.

so, here are some photos of my little haul from Bath and Body Works. Hope you enjoy.

I bought:

(top)
- Homemade Cookies
- Mint Chocolate
(bottom)
- 'Tis The Season
- Leaves

Homemade Cookies- This has a really really SWEET smell. Smells like Vanilla sugar cookies. If I can eat this candle, I would totally do it.

'Tis The Season- It has a hint of sweet apple and cinnamon smell. I would describe this a toned down Leaves. It has that spicy scent, but not too empowering.
Leaves- I don't eat leaves, but this smells amazing. I know there's so many raves about this specific candle and they are all right. It has a hint of Cinnamon smell and really spicy. Best for your kitchen.

Mint Chocolate- smells literally like what it's called. MINT CHOCOLATE Goodness.
and just for fun..

guess what I have?

YES! Candy Corn. Yum Yum!! I love this.
What's your favorite candle from Bath and Body Works? Share them with us. I would love to know and maybe purchase some more candles? :)

Thanks for reading

Review: Seche Restore Thinner

Just got off work and decided to post this up before I go to bed. It was REALLY busy at work today and it sucks big time. I know people go Christmas shopping, but oh my the mall was jam packed. I thought everyone is shopping in US this weekend? Well, whatever I'm here sitting down in front of my laptop and drinking my green tea.

ok enough with the chit chat and let's go on with this review shall we?

I promised a review of the Seche Restore Thinner, so here it is. I hope this helps you guys decide whether to get it or not.

What is Seche Restore Thinner:

According to them(Seche)- " Seche Restore is the only thinner that will thin a bottle of Seche Vite to its original consistency. Will not diminish shine or dull colors and only replaces ingredients which have evaporated from the bottle."

price: $9.00

I know you can get this for $6-$9 in any beauty store or drugstore, but unfortunately I got mine for $9.00 in a salon in Seattle.

I already had this and have been using it for over a month now, so guess it is just fair to give you guys a review.

If you have a thick-goopy looking polishes in your stash, this thinner is for you.

I do definitely think that this is the best thinner to use with the Seche Vite top coats/base coats(you will need this if you have the Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat because it will get thick quickly). You can also use the Seche Restore Thinner with any nail polishes you have that are thick and goopy.
However, the reason I really like this stuff is because it will bring back to life really old nail polishes that looked like they were lost forever.I tried using this with my OPI and Essie nail polishes and it worked really well. I filled up the pipette, that comes with it, and added all of its contents to the polish and then shook and rolled it for a minute - polish was still kinda dry, but already much better. I added another full pipette and repeated with the shaking and the polish was perfect. I applied it and it looks the way I remembered it.
the yucky looking Seche Vite Top Coat

I didn't even attempt taking a picture of the finish result of the Seche Vite Top Coat because you guys won't even see if it worked or not, but I SWEAR BY THIS PRODUCT. I LOVE IT.

PROs:
- Inexpensive
- Works really well
- You can find it in almost every drugstore
- Works well with other thick polishes you have in your stash
- Comes with a dropper
- It will last you probably for half a year.

CONs:
- I can't really think of anything bad to say about this product.

Two thumbs up for this lovely product.

That's the end of my Seche Restore Thinner review. I hope my review helped you guys.

I recommend this 100% to everyone.

I just wanted to add some pictures of products/treats I've been loving lately

so here they are:

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Tropical- For your information, I do not shower every day. I take a shower every other day, so a dry shampoo is a must for me.
Glysomed Hand Cream- My best friend during fall/winter season. I use this everyday before I go out. I even have a smaller size for this and keep it inside my purse. Everyone who live in a cold country should own this hand cream. Glysomed also makes moisturizers and body lotions. I can't live without this hand cream.
Evian Facial Spray- This is another product that I've been using over and over again. When I finish a bottle of this, I purchase one immidiately. I just can't live without my Evian. I spray this all over my face whenever my face feels dry, and after I put my make-up on.
and...

some treats

Arizona Green Tea- YUM. I love cold sweet green tea.
Butterfinger- My favorite chocolate of all time. yum yum

What's your favorite treat? (chocolates? candies? pop?)

Thanks for reading and have a lovely week

Anyways, I got my camera back, so time to blog again with decent pictures.

I promised you guys that I will be doing a Favorite products Series, so here it is. I'm going to show you my favorite fall/winter nail polishes. I have been using these polishes non- stop and I just can't get enough of them. Fall/winter is the season to sport dark nails, so here are some from my nail polish collection.
from left-right: OPI Cuckoo for this Color, OPI Teasy Does It, OPI Smitten with Mitten, OPI Bogota Blackberry, OPI Extra-va-ganza, Sally Hansen Celeb City, American Apparel Berrt, Essie Little Brown Dress.

OPI Bogota Blackberry, OPI Extra-va-ganza!, Sally Hansen Celeb City, American Apparel Berry, and Essie Little Brown Dress.

here is my NOTD with a glitter nail accent.- ironically I used a pink polish by OPI called Strawberry Margarita with this dollar store glitter polish.

If you guys want to purchase glitter polishes, I highly recommend looking at a dollar store first, especially the ones that are just clear with glitters in it.
I probably shouldn't be showing you this because my hands have cuts and bruises from all those paper cuts/box cuts. So, excuse the cuts guys, sorry :)OPI Strawberry Margarita and Marie Claire glitter polish.
What's on your nails right now? Share them with us, or even better tell us your favorite varnishes. :)

* if you guys want to see swatches of my favorite nail polishes, just comment below and I'll make a separate post :)

Perfumes I Want To Try

To all my American readers/followers..how's your Thanksgiving dinner? I hope it all went well. Time to go for some serious shopping. Good luck with that and hope you guys have fun.

so,back with what this post is all about...

I have a slight obsession with perfumes, but the thing is.. I want to have a signature smell. I'm currently using Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy and I love it, but it's about to be dunzo, so I'm on a hunt for a new perfume.

Sometimes when I go shopping, I just go to the fragrance department and stay there for an hour and smell perfumes(same thing when I'm in Sephora).

I love sweet/fruity scents, but I don't really mind if it has a tinge of floral smell to it. Oh and I love perfumes that smells like you just got out of the shower(that's why I love Fresh perfumes so much!). I'm a sucker for nice packaging too.

Here are some perfumes I tried before:

- Michael Kors' Daisy(sample size)- To floral for me, wasn't in to it that much
- Chanel Madamoiselle(full size)- I love this! It is a classic perfume and can't go wrong with this.
- Escada Moon Sparkle(sample size)- Has a fruity/floral fragrance with a hint of strawberry and apple. Smells good, but you just need the tiniest amount.
- Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue(full size)- classic perfume. I think most of you tried this already. Reminds me of High School days.
- Vera Wang Princess(sample size)- smells light and young and has a musky tinge to it. I didn't really like this.

* I would recommend Chanel Madamoiselle and Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue.

so, those are the perfumes I tried and I'm ready to search for the best one in the market and make it my signature smell.

help me if you tried one of these perfumes before. If you have some recommendations, please, feel free to comment below. :)

Viktor and Rolf Eau Mega Perfume

Jo Malone in Nectarine Blossom and Honey

Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb
Britney Spears' Radiance
Tom Ford Black Orchid
Fresh Sugar Lemon
Balenciaga Perfume
Feel free to add your favorite perfume and recommend them to me.

Thanks so much for your help and have a lovely weekend!

Wednesday Radnom Ramble #2: Casual

It's Wednesday once again, so it's time for some Wednesday Random Ramble!!!!

it's 11:00am- and..I'm sitting with my hot green tea while blogging. Weather is cold(freezing cold) Apparently, it will snow tonight AGAIN. :( I know it is -40 in Calgary according to my lovely friend Kimber-Doll(come here girl! Visit Vancouver :)). I think I'm pretty thankful that I live in Vancouver because I don't know what will happen to me if I live in Alberta. HAHA.

so enough with the blah blah and I shall share with you some of my celebrity inspirations

I'm the type of girl who gets lazy to dress up sometimes, so you will always see me with a plain tee, jeans/leggings/jeggins, boots and a cozy sweater.

Honestly, from time to time I browse the web to get some inspirations from my favorite celebrities. I usually look at Lauren Conrad, Rachel Bilson, and Vanessa Hudgens' outfits some casual inspirations, and Blake Lively for a giryl girl style. Oh, and Audrina Patridge for a rocker outfit :)

here are some "inspirational" pictures :)

Vanessa Hudgens- I just love her bohemian outfits. She totally looks good with everything she wears, even if she has sweatpants on. I'm not a fan of her, but I love her style and outfits.

Rachel Bilson-I just adore her. Love everything about her. I miss OC(Orange County) days when she was still with Adam Brody. They look so cute together. She just broke up with Hayden Christensen. Anyways, I like how she dresses up because it seens like she doesn't put that much effort on it, but still looks put together.

Lauren Conrad- this "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills" star is my favorite. She seems to be the type of person who grew up in a good family. She is really successful with three books and a fashion line. I just love everything about Lauren Conrad.

Blake Lively- I know she dresses up differently on Gossip Girl, but I like how she look in this picture(below). I love the casual Blake Lively, but I still do like her outfits on Gossip Girl.

and..if I'm feeling "rocker-ish", which I sometimes do. I look at Audrina Patridge's outfits. Oh and her body is to die for. :D

Who are your celebrity inspiration outfit wise? Share them with us.
time to get ready for school.

Thanks for reading.

have a lovely Wednesday :)

Random Ramble

Sorry for the lack of interesting posts, but I don't have my camera at the moment, so I can't take pictures. Time to ramble once again, and talk about random things that happened this week.

My younger sister has a Sony Cybershot and it sucks. Who has a Sony Cybershot? is it just me, or does it really suck? I tried taking pictures of some lip and face combinations and it's so blurry :( No hope for that sucky Cybershot camera. I need my Panasonic Lumix! (wow! I used the word suck three times! sorry)

Anyways, I'm here sitting in front of my laptop watching the weather channel and complaining how cold it is outside. How COLD is it in your city/country? I really want to know. It is -6 degrees here in Vancouver and it will be -12 later tonight. one word: YIKES! I know I will be sleeping by the time it gets to -12, but still..it's only November and it's -12?? Sometimes, I wish I live in a humid/warm country like FLORIDA.

Everytime I watch Lorraine's- thecurrentboobies"(which I'am obsessed with) I envy her because she lives in a humid/warm place. Who watches her daily vlogs? isn't it addicting? if you don't watch her, you are missing out a lot! she's has a great sense of humor and I LOVE HER. Be careful because you will get hooked with all her jewelries(and Starbucks)! I just ordered the Lisa Taubes chain necklaces in gold and silver. I'm still waiting for it to arrive.

I'm going out now, to get my Caramel Brulee Latte from Starbucks with extra sprinkles PLEASE! What is your favorite Starbucks drink?

have a lovely cold week :)
