Rave: Viva Glam Cyndi Toned Down

Hi pretty ladies

How was your weekend? Feel like summer already? or are the rain clouds ruining it? I had a nice weekend, but drama came along with me. Well everyone needs some drama in their lives right?

anyways...

You all know that I love my nudes, I won't ever let them go because they are super versatile. In a way that you can wear it everyday to tone down your look. Too much nude is not good tho, well for me because I'm pale-NC 25 and nudes sometimes makes me look dead-ish. SO time to move on...to a better shade- Reddish coral. I want everything with a reddish coral shade from now on.- Nail polish, lipsticks, and lipgloss.

I have been raving about Viva Glam Cyndi for about 2 weeks now, Here's why;

-For God' s sake it's Cyndi Lauper- she is an icon

-The packaging of this Viva Glam Gaga and Cyndi is to die for with their signature on the tube.

-The shade of this lippie is awesome because of the reddish coral color and it has a slight pink undertone. It also gives a nice sheen on the lips.

Honestly at first, I ignored Viva Glam Cyndi and bought Gaga because it got a lot of attention, well more that Cyndi did. I never thought a reddish coral shade will look good on me. In fact, Viva Glam Cyndi looks better on me compared to Viva Glam Gaga.

How I use this lipstick- I just dab it. I don't apply it on my whole lips, but I just apply i with dabbing motion. I don't want an intense red lips anyways. Then I put MAC Myth to tone down the colour and...tada a paler reddish lips. I would def. put Cyndi on alone, but it depends on the occasion. I would pair it with a simple eye, flashy eyeshadows are a no no. Well that;s in my opinion.

Do you guys use red lipsticks? what would you recommend for me? I think I will be using more of this shade from now on.

Barely There Lippies + FOTD

As you all know I'm obsessed with nude lipsticks. I don't know why, but I'm. I don't own a lot of lipsticks compared to other people, but I think I still need to minimize my cravings for nudes. I love nudes maybe because it goes with everything- smokey looks, blue eyeshadows, purple eyeshadows, simple looks, everything practically. I own mostly MACs, but I really want to explore other brands. I really really desperately want  YSL and Chanels, but their price are way up there. I'll probably get my hands on them when I finish 2 lipsticks, or maybe 3. Can you guys resist a temptation like this?

I have 5 nude lippies, but one is almost dunzo whooopieee. I like it when a products is almost out, just because it means that it was well loved.

Myth is almost out and I'm really happy. I love this color and the finish of it is amazing. I really love the satin finish of MAC just because it gives a subtle sheen to my lips. I know a lot of people say that Myth is super drying and it is to be honest, but it is still my most well loved lipstick next to it  is Creme D Nude.

FOTD: (June 9)

Another face of the day for this blog. I love looking at other people's FOTD just because I like to know what products they use, or how they look.

I often go with natural look- neutral eyeshadows, winged liner, mascara. know I need to learn how to put on exciting colours because summer is approaching. Time for my colored eyeshadows to shine this season. I ignored them during fall and winter just because I don't have the guts to go out with colored lids. I'm talking about blues, purples, yellows, orange, etc. Do you guys wear eyeshadows that are flashy? Tell me how you guys pull it off because I'm still not comfortable with them.
