Haul: Clothing

Hello again my lovely readers,

Im here to share with you a collective haul. What I mean about collective haul is that I didn't buy these things in one day, but purchased them within a month or so.

I have been obsessed with sweaters this season- who wouldn't? If you live in a cold country then, I bet you are crazy looking for sweaters too like me(I like it loose and chunky). Now, I woudn't spend $300 on a sweater, but I do want to find some cheap good quality sweaters, so if you guys have any online sites recommendation or any store that sells chucnky sweaters that will warm me up in a -5 and below weather, then link them up please. I'm in desperate need of some clothes to warm my poor body up.

I found some pretty, but quite pricey chunky sweater and they are all from RevolveClothing, so if you are interested go check them out. Maybe purchase one Christmas present for yourself? :)

I prefer a nude/ shades when it comes to sweaters.

How do you keep warm during the winter? I wear at least 2 tops(one tank and one top/sweater), then I wear at least 2 jackets or one thick trenchcoat/peacoat. For the bottom, I wear leggings and jeans/jeggings on top or if I'm lazy I wear sweatpants! There are days when I'M L-A-Z-Y to dress up. This LAZY DAY is usually a Monday(haha!)

So..Here's my Clothing Haul and hope you guys enjoy.

and...I found my sweater at H&M and it was only $34.99
3/4 sleeves! I love it :)
I just want to add this baby of mine..well it's not a real baby, but I have been lusting over these J Brand Houlihan Skinny Cargo Jeans(phew! that was a long name!) for the last 4 months or so. I finally bought it. You can find more colors here. I bought the Vintage Black shade. It fits like a dream and it looks super nice and chic with knee high boots, or heels or even wedges. Really nice for winter or summer. I recommend you to get at least one pair.

So, Did you buy any Christmas present for yourself yet? if so, what it is? if not, what is on top of your wish list this Christmas?
Do you guys like my Christmas theme going on here? :)
Have a lovely week. :)

Holiday Makeup Look III- Pin Up

Why hello there ladies and gents How are ya'll doing?

How's your weekend so far? so far so good? or is this not your weekend?

Anyways, I'm back to share another Holiday Makeup Look part tres. Now, for this post I will be showing you a modern pin up look, but still has that 50's-60's edge to it.

Holiday parties is a good excuse to dress up and to slap lots of makeup on your face. For me, Holiday means sparkles, glitters, red, green, and golds(and all other color out there). Have you guys chosen your holiday outfit yet? I will be wearing a sparkling skirt or shorts(not sure yet). I will post a OOTD here when that day comes(Dec 24).

If you aren't aware yet, I will not be staying here in Vancouver for the Holidays. I will be on a vacation to visit my family and friends. So, I guess I won't be blogging that often. I will be away on December 15th till January 4th. So I'm just apologizing in advance if I won't be blogging that much on those days.

So, let's go back to the Holiday Makeup Look I'm talking about. Whether you want to dress up or dress down, be sophisticated or down to earth, a pin up look would be great with everything. So, this is why I decided to put up this look.

I hope you guys enjoy- I tried my best to create a modern Dita Von Tess look.

If you say Pin Up..this means..

- Face should be LIGHTER than usual(flawless)- I tried my best :D
- Upper lashline should be LINER HEAVY(black)
- Precise WING look
- Cheeks should be PINK
- Lips should be RED

So here's my Holiday Pin Up Look...

For the FACE:

-I used NARS Sheer Glow alone in Ceylon- I used this because this is a shade lighter than what I often use.
-For concealers- I used typical YSL Touche Eclat and MAC Select Moisture
-Then I applied MAC Natural Skin Finish in Medium- Applied all over face powder
- I applied MAC Pink Swoon(apply only on the apples of the cheeks in circular motion) then I used NARS Deep Throat(dabbed a tiny bit for an extra glow)
For the EYES:
- Eyeshadow base: MAC Painterly Paintpot- applied all over the lid up to the brow bone
- Then I used MAC Brule(for this step, you can use any beigey-nude, matte eyeshadow)- applied it all over lid. Then I used MAC Shroom for tear duct highlight. I then used MAC Cork for the crease(use a small amount of a light brown eyeshadow. You just want to enhance the crease)
- This is the most important part for this look- The HEAVY LINER and the WING at the end. I used Revlon Colorstay liquid liner(thicker than usual), then I created the wing look.
- For mascara- you need at least three coats of you favorite volumizing mascara and a lengthening one as well. For this look, I used L'oreal Volume Million mascara and topped of with YSL Faux Cils mascara.

*** didn't put any products for the lower lash line or water line.

For the LIPS:

- Pin Up girl equals RED lips- now, for this look I do not have a matte red lipstick in my collection, but I just used any red toned lipstick I have. MAC Viva Glam Cyndi lipstick.

*** You can definitely make your lips more dramatic by using a matte red or a dark burgundy shade.

What's your take on a pin up look? Is it your style?

I think everyone can rock this look, whether or not you have a fair, medium, or dark skin tone. just make sure be glamorous and be the center of attention :) Have a lovely Christmas everyone. So now...I'm going to greet all my followers/reader a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Thank you all for your support.

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful Sunday :)

Holiday Makeup Look II- Smokey

Ola my lovely chicas hows your Friday so far? Weekend is coming up, time to put up the Christmas tree, well I will.

I recently found a new smokey look combination.I'm not the type of girl who loves smokey looks, but I think it's appropriate to wear this during the holiday season. I adore girls who can pull off a smokey eye for an everyday look, but I for sure can't. People tell me that I look mean and mad if I have tons of eyeshadows slapped on my lids(sucks). I wish I can wear it everyday tho, that would be really cool.

So anyways, the eyeshadow combination that I'm talking about are MAC Silver Ring and NARS Night Breed eyeshadows. They are both permanent, so you can still get them if you want. I don't have a lot of NARS shadows, but I think I should grab more, maybe next year. I only have three eyeshadows from NARS- Ashes to Ashes, Nepal, and Night Breed. Don't ask me how many MAC shadows I have because it's ridiculous and kind of embarrassing to tell you how many I have. Sorry, I can't control myself, but I'm being a good girl these days, no new makeup for the past month I think.

Featured Eyeshadows:

MAC Silver Ring- Silver Ring has a Veluxe Pearl finish- my favorite finish from MAC eyeshadows. This is great to have if you are a neutral addict like me because it's not too dark and not too light at the same time. I will probably describe this as a neutral mid-toned blueish grey with velvety sheen to it. It looks more blue toned when you look at it on the pan, but when applied on the lid, it will give you a blueish grey effect with silver sheen. Perfect for smokey eyes.
NARS Night Breed- Another shadow perfect for smokey look lovers out there. I would describe this a a velvet black with chunky silver glitters. When I used this for this look, there was a tad bit of fall out, but it's manageable.
and the look using MAC Silver Ring and NARS Night Breed:
Products used for EYES: MAC Bare Study Paintpot, MAC Silver Ring(inner half of lids), NARS Night Breed(outer half of lids), MAC Nylon(inner tear duct), MAC Brule(brow bone highlight). MAC Superslick Liquid Liner and MAC Graph Black Technakohl. Mascara used- L'oreal Million Volume mascara- LOVE!

Products used for FACE: NARS Sheer Glow with Revlon Colorstay foundation, MAC Select moisture concealer(for uneven colors on face), YSL Touche Eclat(for under eyes), MAC Natural Skin Finish in Medium(all over powder), NARS Deep Throat blush with MAC Stereo Rose MSF on top.

Product used on LIPS:MAC Creme D'Nude Lipstick
Hmmm..I think I'm liking the smokey eye look now.

Quick question, do you guys use a face primer? if yes what is a nice primer out there in the market? I do not like Smashbox because it BREAKS ME OUT like a mother! I tried Korres before and it worked okay, but I want a better one. So keep them suggestions coming :) Thanks

Happy Friday :)

A Purple Holiday Makeup Look

How's the Holiday shopping going? Are you guys done? 16 more days till Christmas.

WOW December is flying by quickly. Then, New Years is up next. What's your New Years resolution? I think mine will be spending wisely and do not buy A LOT of makeup. I'll TRY to persue this New Years resolution of mine.

Oh, I have a quick question...Are you guys going on a Holiday Vacation? or are you just staying home with your family and friends?

Last Week, I think that was a Saturday, my friends and I went Holiday shopping. I, personally do not like shopping with a lot of people. I prefer shopping alone because I can stay in one store for how many minutes, or hours(Sephora, H&M, Aritzia). If you're shopping with guys, do expect that they will rush you because they will for sure say "hurry up! you're taking hours to shop!" Don't you just hate that!? I DO!

Do you prefer shopping alone? or with a bunch of people? I guess I don't mind shopping with my mom/sister or with couple of friends.

Anyways, enough with the chit chat of what I did last weekend and lets go on with my FOTD. I guess this look can be worn during the Holiday right? well, I will :)

Here's my Purple Holiday makeup Look(nothing fancy)
I used couple of new products and loving them to pieces. Let me show them to you.
FOR EYES: I first applied MAC Painterly Paintpot(as eyeshadow base), then I used MAC Jest(for inner half), MAC Star Violet (for outer half), and tiny teeny amount of MAC Carbon eyeshadow(for outer V). I then applied MAC Superslick Liquid Liner in On The Hunt(upper lashline). Lastly, I used MAC Technakohl in Graph Black(waterline). For Mascara- I used YSL Faux Cils(2 coats)
FOR FACE: I first mixed my foundation- NARS Sheer Glow in Ceylon and MAC Face and Body in C3, then I applied concealer- YSL Touche Eclat(for undereyes) and MAC Select Moisture(for uneven shades on my face and for scars/zits). Then I used MAC Natural Skin Finish in Medium(for all over face powder)I then used my NARS Casino Bronzer for cheek/face contour, and applied NARS Deep Throat blush. Lastly, I used MAC By Candlelight for highlight(cheeks/nose) .
FOR LIPS: Simple and nude. Just the way I like it :)- I used MAC Hue lipstick and Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Nude Lustre

The new products I used are the MAC eyeshadows(Jest and Star Viloet). I love them. I personally like Jest better compared to Star Violet just because I know I will be using Jest more often. Jest is SUPER SIMILAR to Naked Lunch, but it has more pink tone to it compared to Naked Lunch.

So what will you be sporting on Christmas eve or Christmas Parties(makeup wise)?

Happy Thursday :)

In and Out- November

It's already December! WOW November went by quickly huh? 22 more days before Christmas!

What will you be asking for Christmas this year?

Is someone asking their parents/husband/boyfriend to get them a designer purse? I think I will ask my parents for a Prada purse(lol). So, to my mom and dad, if you guys are reading this I want a Prada purse for Christmas, it's just $1250- no biggie! I'm just kidding. I'm happy with what I have. Definitely no makeup(or maybe the new nude collection from MAC coming out on Dec 26?) for Christmas this year.

So..guess what!? I don't have my beloved camera again, but don't worry I will get it tomorrow.

What will a lazy blogger do without her camera? An In and Out post of course!

Here are my In and Outs for the month of November.

Jeggings- I prefer jeggings over jeans that's for sure! I specifically love my Citizens of Humanity and Seven Jeans jeggings.

Coats- Definitely a must if you live in a cold country(like Canada!). I just realized that it's really expensive to live in a cold country. You need all these winter clothes and gears to keep you warm(gloves, rain boots, toques, scarves, etc).

Nutella Hot Chocolate- I'am OBSESSED with this drink! A tad bit of marshmallows and a tad bit of whip cream- voila! yummy goodness :)

Aveeno Moisturizers- I love Aveeno. I have been using their daily moisturizer every single day(twice a day) and my skin looks amazing. I have dry sensitive skin, so I need a light creamy moisturizer and I found it.

Bath and Body Works' candles- LOVE! I have four candles from BBW and my house smells delicious. I'm currently burning Mint Chocolate.

Twitter- well, who isn't obsessed with Twitter? maybe some, but it is addicting. I gained so many new friends. SO thank you to everyone who followed me. For those who aren't please follow me. I have been following so many people lately and it actually feels really good. So link up your Twitter page ladies and gents. I will def follow you guys. :)

Christmas Songs- Makes me happy and feel festive. What's your favorite Christmas song?

Lisa Taubes chain necklace from Lorraine Stanick- I just got mine a week ago and I have been wearing them non-stop this week. It goes with every outfit. They have the best customer service and mine arrived in two weeks. Im really impressed! Go get yours, or maybe give them as a Christmas present. I bet she will love them.

Crappy weather- who likes crappy weather!? apparently this winter will be coldest in 50 years!(for Canada). To my Canadian followers, let's get ready shall we?

Spending problems- I need to stop buying clothes/makeup. I have tons, and I need to be practical. UGH it's so hard to be a girl. :D

So...that's it for now, I shall be back tomorrow for some OOTD and FOTD. :)

What are your In and Outs at the moment?

Happy December.

'Tis The Season

'Tis the season to light up some holiday candles from Bath and Body Works.

I'm obsessed with candles I don't know why, but there's just something about them that makes me really happy. I know guys I'm really shallow.

So I went to the mall yesterday planning to purchase some bras(double push-ups!) and underwears from La Senza. I did spent $120 something at La Senza, but whilst walking around the mall, I saw Bath and Body Works having a 2 for $25 for their 3 wick candles(Hooray!!), so duh...I went in their store and spent more money- bought 4 candles.

so, here are some photos of my little haul from Bath and Body Works. Hope you enjoy.

I bought:

- Homemade Cookies
- Mint Chocolate
- 'Tis The Season
- Leaves

Homemade Cookies- This has a really really SWEET smell. Smells like Vanilla sugar cookies. If I can eat this candle, I would totally do it.

'Tis The Season- It has a hint of sweet apple and cinnamon smell. I would describe this a toned down Leaves. It has that spicy scent, but not too empowering.
Leaves- I don't eat leaves, but this smells amazing. I know there's so many raves about this specific candle and they are all right. It has a hint of Cinnamon smell and really spicy. Best for your kitchen.

Mint Chocolate- smells literally like what it's called. MINT CHOCOLATE Goodness.
and just for fun..

guess what I have?

YES! Candy Corn. Yum Yum!! I love this.
What's your favorite candle from Bath and Body Works? Share them with us. I would love to know and maybe purchase some more candles? :)

Thanks for reading
