Rings, Rings!!

My love for statement rings has reached the next level!


I found some affordable rings from Aldo Accessories. They retail for only CAD$12. I'm really sorry if you do not have any Aldo stores in your country(they do have an online site-aldoshoes.com).


I love Low Luv X Erin Wasson and Soixante Neuf rings so much(Singer22.com/shopbop.com), but they are pricey. Low Luv X Erin Wasson rings retail for $30-$100, while Soixante Neuf rings retail for over $200.


okay, so enough with the blabbering of expensive jeweries and let me show you what I got from Aldo.

Haul: MAC(Wonder Woman) and some other stuffs

Hey everyone

Are you guys tired of me hauling?

Well, I just went to MAC and got ONE product from the Wonder Woman, some permanent MAC items, and 2 lipbalms from the drugstore.

I won't blab about useless stuffs and I'll go ahead and talk about what I bought.


I'll start off with MAC- well..let me just say that the packaging of the Wonder Woman collection screams: CHILDISH. I know some of you guys like the packaging, but not me. Ironically I bought one blush and that's MAC Mighty Aphrodite. I thought I would like the MSF's, but nah it's HUGE! Could you imagine someone bringing a big lip gloss and MSF in public and applying it on their lips/face? Just saying :D

I'm glad I bought this blush. It recmind me of MAC's Ripe Peach from their Spring 2010 collection.

Melba is a super pigmented neutral peach blushI would definitely recommend MAC's Superslick Liquid Liners

These are actually my second tubes and I love them to bits. Did you purchase anything from Wonder Woman collection? What do you guys think of it?

Haul: MAC Blushes

Finally found the perfect red- base and mauve- base blushes!

wait, but first let me share what I was really suppose to purchase

these are my choices:
- Chanel: Soleil Tan De Chanel - bronzer
- Chanel: Black Pearl - polish
- NARS Taj Mahal - blush
- NARS Exhibit A - blush
- NARS Mykanos - eyeshadow

and..ended up with two MAC Blushes. I think I should have bought Black Pearl first since it is limited edition..well..I think it is LE. Is it?

so, here's my journey...

I went to The Bay(a department store in Canada Only) and, while strolling down the aisle of NARS, MAC, and Chanel(of course, they just had to be all in ONE aisle), I decided that I need a new blush.


I really wanted to purchase NARS Taj Mahal and Exhibit A- I know they are BRIGHT blushes, but they are just so pretty to look at and perfect for spring! NARS Blushes cost $29 here in Canada, plus tax and MAC blushes cost $24. So I ended up with MAC. NARS can wait.


About two days ago,I was watching old videos of lollipop26(whom I bet you all know) and she mentioned a limited edition blush called Stark Naked. She also mentioned that MAC has a close dupe from their permanent blush line called Coygirl. The only difference between these two blushes is that Stark Naked has more gold flecks while Coygirl is flat matte. I just know I needed this blush in my collection because I do not have anything similar to it. So, went to MAC to purchase Coygirl and ended up with another blush called Desert Rose.

I intentionally swiped then three times to how you the color and pigmentation of the blushes.
Left: Desert Rose(matte)- MAC is right with their description of this blush- "Soft Reddish- burgundy". Take note that this blush is matte, so no shimmer or what so ever. Perfect for everyday wear.


Right: Coygirl(sheertone)- Powdered rose with tiny bit of mauve undertone. I really like Coygirl because it such a subtle purple pink, perfect for winter and spring.

I took over 50 face shots and this is the only decent photo. I promise to do a FOTD using these blushes soon. conclusion: I seriously need a new camera. :D

Haul: OPI Polishes Oh Yea!

So, guess what!?

I went to purchase the new Katy Perry and Serena Williams OPI collection and I will be showing them to you.

So, I tried to stay away from videos and blog posts about the new OPI nail polish collection, but obviously I FAILED. I thought that I can resist such pretty glitter polishes and that Black Shatter polish that everyone was talking about. Two days ago, I was browsing some beauty blogs and came across a pretty swatch of the Black Shatter polish and I watched Michele1218's(I think you guys all know her) video and she said that the new Katy Perry Teenage Dream polish knocked Mad as A Hatter(from Alice in Wonderland collection) away. That made me really curious and I just gave up and went to the mall this morning to purchase Teenage Dream, but came out from the store with three.


At first, I thought my salon ran out of Black Shatter because it wasn't there with the Katy Perry collection, but there it was sitting inside a box with Simply Smashing from the Serena Williams collection. I fell in love with the shade and bought the pack for only CAD$15.00(not bad, hey?) So, I can say that I'm a very happy camper now.

Perfume Haul: DKNY & Jo Malone

Let me first rant about how SICK I'am. I have stuffy and runny nose AGAIN! Yes, that's right again. I just had cough and colds a week and a half ago and my colds are back. Is this because of the weather here in Canada? too cold and too dry? I sleep with a humidifier on. As of the moment I'm drinking lemon juice- one word: SOUR! I need another instant relief remedy for colds? I was browsing the web and found some homemade medicine to cure colds such as boiled ginger(eew), lemon juice(I'm drinking right now), boiled lady's fingers(eew) and inhaling Eucalyptus(I will do this later before bed). Do you guys have any suggestions? help a friend out.


I was chatting with some twitter friends and apparently so many people are sick these days. I know about 7 people who are victimized by colds and cough. To everyone who is sick I pray that we all find comfort and relief within this week. Amen.


Okay, enough! I shall share with you a small tiny teeny haul. I purchased two perfumes about a month ago and they are the DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom(Limited Edition bottle) and Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia perfume.


Let me just say that I have a perfume illness- I'm OBSESSED with them. I want to try every single one out there. I know this is bad, but I can't resist them. I prefer fruity feminine smell compared to flowery scents. I know most of you prefer flowery scents such as the Marc Jacobs Daisy. I wouldn't say that I hate flowery scents, but I'd rather choose fruity scented perfumes.



Note: I'am BAD at describing perfumes.


I'll start with the DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom- Looking at the name of this perfume "Fresh Blossom" I first thought that this would be the total opposite of what DKNY Be delicious perfume line, but it's not. When I trued this perfume out it reminded me of fresh grapefruits and apples with a tiny rose and jasmine scent. The perfect combination. I wouldn't wear this at night when I have a night out with some friends, but I would totally wear this perfume during the day.
The packaging is to die for!


Next up, Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia- This the newest perfume from Jo Malone and I feel in love with it the first time I tried it on. I know the most popular perfume from Jo Malone is the Nectarine Blossom and Honey. I own that one too, but when you mis them up together, you will smell like a goddess. I love it when people look back at you when you pass by. I do not know why, but I love the feeling because that means that I smell really good, or maybe I smell really bad. I had tons of cmpliments by people I do not know that I smell really good anf fresh. I will definitely recommend buying Jo Malone because the scent lasts all day. I can even smell it the next day after I take a shower- which is a good sign of a good and worth it perfume.

I love the box packaging, not a fan of the bottle, but who cares as long as it smells good.
