You've seen my favorite lipsticks, now let me show you my
favorite polishes and my nail polish collection.
If you know me you know that I change my nail color every 2-3 days. I know this isn't healthy for my nails, but I just have to do it.
I've been collecting nail polishes for over two years now, and it is still growing until now. I should probably ban myself from buying polishes, but I know I won't be able to do it. I can ban myself from not purchasing any lipgloss this year, which by the way I'm doing a GLOSSOUT 2011. If you are not familiar with this movement, it's simple you do not buy any lipgloss this year. I'm not doing a total lipgloss ban, but I will only buy FIVE lipgloss this year. Who's with me? Let's challenge ourselves shall we?
Okay, so enough blabbing about lipglosses and I'll show you my nail polish collection. Take note that I have been collecting these polishes for over 2 years and it is still expanding. Most of my collection consist of OPI polishes just because they are widely available here in Vancouver. Essie is a bit harder to find compared to OPI. I have some Revlon polishes too, and I must say that I'm really impress with the formulation and consistency of it.
So with out further a do here's my nail polish collection.

I probably have over 50 polishes, I know this is insane, but I can't stop myself from purchasing nail varnishes okay? :D
I will break down the brands that I own.
>
OPI- chips after 2-3 days.
>
Revlon- chips after 3 days.
>
Essie- chips after 3-4 days.
>
American Apparel- chips after 1- 2 days.
>
Orly-chips after 2 days.
>
Sally Hansen- chips after 3-4 days.
>
China Glaze- chips after 2-3 days.
>
E.L.F.- chips after 1 day.
>
Deborah Lipmann- chips after3-4 days
I've been experimenting with them for a while now, and I conclude that OPI might have a wide range of colors and they are very easy to find(most salons carry OPI), but Essie, Deborah Lipmann, and Sally Hansen last longer and they don't chip until the 3rd or 4th day. This will not stop me from buying OPI's because I love the formulation and the wide brush it comes with.
I would not recommend getting E.L.F. polishes. I know they cost a dollar and we should not expect a lot from them, but I just won't bother buying more polishes from them. I love their makeup and brushes, but definitely not their polishes.
I will now be showing my top nail polish picks.
