I'm A Blush Whore

Can someone stop me? I have a bad addiction when it comes to blushes...and lipsticks.

I bought these guys from cherryculture.com which I know you are all familiar with. They have great customer service and the blushes arrived within two weeks. Great job Cherry Culture! Very impressive. I really recommend checking the site out They carry a lot of affordable brands such as Milani, Sinful Colors, and NYX.

Say hello to my newly acquired NYX blushes- I bought 5 powder and 2 cream blushes.

I have a photo of me wearing NYX Espresso on my cheeks with a little MAC Strobe lotion as a highlight. Espresso is warming, and it bring your cheeks out.
So all in all, my favorite is Mauve and Espresso

Mauve being a...well mauve and matte
Espresso being a warm mauve with a hint of pink

By the way, Peach isn't a peach shade at all..well maybe a little bit, but it's more of a light pink. Think MAC Well Dressed without the silver flecks.

I love how it looks on my cheeks because I own a lot of cool-toned blushes already, so a little change is good right? I'm happy that got these two babies from NYX.

Do you own any blushes from NYX?

Have a great Wednesday!

Shopping My Stash: Part 3

Happy HEARTS day everyone. Hope you guys(my UK/Asia readers) had a wonderful night with your loved ones and if you live in Canada or in the US, then I wish you guys will wonderful night later on :)

I have a perfect song stuck in my head right now...

I need you boo, I gotta see you boo
And the hearts all over the world tonight
Said the hearts all over tha world tonight

(tralalalalala....)

Yes, With You by Chris Brown- perfect song for the day.

okay enough with the mushy stuffs.

Can I just rant about something quickly?

If you follow me on Twitter you know that I've been waiting for a pracel to arrive in the mail three days ago or was that four days ago, but anyways the postman left a note outside my house that no one was home when he rang the doorbell.

To: Mr Postman(eventhough I don't know who the heck you are),

I was at home waiting for you to ring the doorbell. I stayed home for you and my doorbell is working because I tried to ring it when I saw your note(because I thought that the doorbell wasn't working because i didn't hear anything). Now I have to go to 7 eleven and get my parcel there. You didn't even leave any specific time on when I can pick my package up. How will I know if my package is there or not?

PS: I did go to 7 eleven and the lady said that there was no package there for me!? How is that possible? what should I do now? grr. hate situations like this. I will go to 7 eleven again later.

RANT OVER and DONE.

Anyways back to what this post is all about

I've shown you guys Shopping my Stash Part 1 and Part 2, so now it's time to show Part 3

I found more "neglected" products in my magical drawer. > MAC Creamcolor base in "Shell" - soft pink beige with slight micro glitters
> MAC Paint Pot in "Rubenesque" - golden peach with gold pearl
> NYX Eyeshadow in "Ultimatum" - white champagne with shimmer

I even remember raving about Rubenesque paint pot and Shell cream color base awhile back. I know I will still love Rubenesque because I can wear it alone with a champagne/neutral eyeshadows(Naked Lunch or All That Glitters) and I'm good to go. Shell cream color base will be a good highlighter on the cheekbones and browbone. My only problem with Shell is that it doesn't look natural like what MAC Soft and Gentle MSF gives because it does contain glitters. If you are interested with MAC cream color bases, I suggest you try them out first and what I mean by try is that you need to apply it on your face and see if it the shade matches you. I made a mistake by just swatching Shell on my hand and quickly paid for it. I want to try Luna and Hush cream color bases now.

Ultimatum is practicallya straighy forward shade. I say straight forward because I know I will use this as a inner highlight or an all over lid color.
here are some hand swatch from left to right: MAC Shell creamcolor base, NYX Ultimatum eyeshadow, and MAC Rubenesque paint pot.
If you don't have Rubenesque paint pot in your makeup stash, then I suggest you go buy it because it's the type of shade that you can always slap on if you're lazy and in a hurry. Amongst all MAC Paint pots, I would suggest you get these 4- Bare Study, Construtivist, Painterly, and Rubenesque.
Conclusion: I think that's the end of my "Shopping my Stash" journey and I'm really glad I shared that with you.
Giveaway as soon as I get my parcel. I would just want to say this in advance that my giveaway is sponsored. You will know by who within this week. :)
Have a happy week and enjoy the day/night away

Top 10 Favorite Eyeshadows

You've seen my favorite lipsticks, glosses, and nail polishes, so now it's time for me to show my Top 10 favorite eyeshadows(most worn)

I figured that I should post something up while sipping my cup of coffee in a sunny afternoon. Mr. Sun decided to show up and that makes me really happy. I don't know why, but I feel spring. I'm really excited for spring trends- matte neon lips, matte lips, statement rings. big cross necklaces, no eye makeup(mascara only), glowy face and many more.

Honestly, I'm not really a huge fan of eyeshadows and if you know me I STICK with NEUTRALS and I can prove that to you! I usually wear two colors on my lids- inner corner highlight and an all over lid color. This week, I've been wearing NARS "Nepal" all over the lid, MAC "Tempting" and MAC "Shroom" as brow highlight and inner corner highlight.

I would say that if you are starting off with makeup I would recommend these eyeshadows. I started off with MAC "Shroom", MAC "Naked Lunch", and MAC "All That Glitters". I used to use these three colors every single day- Shroom inner corner highlight, Naked Lunch all over lids, and All That Glitters Outer corner and crease.

So...without further a do here's my most worn eyeshadows of all time

Favorite Eyeshadows list:(NO LIMITED EDITION) > NARS "Nepal"
> MAC "Shroom"
> Urban Decay "Toasted"
> Urban Decay "Sin"
> NYX "Champagne"
> NYX "Mocha"
> NYX "Fahrenheit"
> MAC "Naked Lunch"
> MAC "All That Glitters"
> MAC "Tempting"(Photo above)Top: NARS Nepal, MAC Shroom, UD Toasted, UD Sin
Bottom: NYX Champagne, NYX Mocha, NYX Fahrenheit
(Photo Above)Left: MAC Naked Lunch. MAC All That Glitters(these are forst two eyeshadows when I frst started makeup)- HIT PAN! :)
(Photo Above)MAC Tempting
______________________________________________________
Now with the close ups and swatches:

NARS Nepal, and MAC Shroom
Urban Decay Toasted, and Urban Decay Sin
NYX Champagne(forgot to take picture, SORRY), Fahrenheit, and Mocha
MAC Naked Lunch, MAC All That Glitters, and MAC Tempting
I also included some contenders.
> MAC Rice Paper
> MAC Jest
> MAC Gleam
> MAC Patina
> MAC Hey(LE)

Hand swatch:

Top: MAC Rice Paper, MAC Jest
Bottom: MAC MAC Gleam, MAC Patina, MAC Heyand finally, some looks using my eyeshadows
Above photo: I used Shroom all over the lid here
Above photo: I used Nepal all over the lid and MAC Amber Lights on the outer corner.

Conclusion: I should explore more with colored eyeshadows, but I can't pull off pinks definitely. Do you guys know any way or any look that I can do to make pink eyeshadows suit me? Help a friend out. I'm thinking pink eyeshadow all over lid, light brown on the crease. and an inner corner highlight. Maybe that will do. I should experiment on it and show you guys huh?

Thanks for reading and have a happy Tuesday :)

Products for November

Hi ladies and gents

It's Halloween! What's your Halloween costume? I will be a girl scout. :)

I just realized I post less and less every month. :( I will try my best to post every other day next month! :)

Anyways its the end of October! wow this month was QUICK! Fall is almost over and the Holiday season is coming right up. Time for some sparkles and gift shopping. I love Holidays because I want to shop for Christmas presents.

A lot of things happened this month- good and bad, but I will go on with my life and just be thankful for what I have and who I have in my life. Well, forget the sermon, let's go with the products I'm talking about.

I will start off with lips, eyes, and then face.

LIPS:

so for this month, I will return to the usual nude lips. I love bold lips for winter, but I will always go back to nude. So here they are, MAC Hue lipstick and Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss in Pout.
Left: MAC Hue lipstick
Right: Smashbox Pout
EYES:

You know me, I LOVE eyeliners. I can't leave the house without eyeliner, so I will still be using the same eyeliner as before.

Here is MAC Superslick liquid eyeliner from the MAC fabulous Feline collection
and my all time fave liquid eyeliner which is Kat Von D tattoo Liner in trooper. I recommend everyone to get this! I finished three of these already. Im really impressed with it.
An eyeshadow base is a must for winter.

Here is MAC Bare Study. I always use Painterly for the last three-four months, but now I will give bare Study a try.

So for the month of November, I decided that I will start using eyeshadows again. So here are my favorite eyeshadows..and they are all Neutral.

For my lower lashline I will use this ELF eyeshadow in Saddle. I think I will use this on my crease as well.

CHEEKS:

For blushes I decided tat I will try MAC Dame(Left) and the ever so versatile MAC Well Dressed(Right).Swatch for the blushes

I want to try MAC Skin Finish Natural in Dark, but I think this will be too orange on my skin. So I decided that I will apply NARS Laguna on top.
