Haul: Face Products and A Comb

Sorry for the lack of post, but I'm here again after 4 days of not blogging and I feel horrible.

Here's what happened:

I tried posting this one 4 days ago(Thursday), but my computer was being SLOW and decided to upload one photo for 10 minutes. I'm very impatient, so I just decided not to blog last Thursday.

Last Friday, I tried posting this one up again and my messed up computer AGAIN, decided to be a turtle once again. I need to upgrade to MAC, seriously!! I'm using an HP right now.

Yesterday(Saturday) I got sick and had a slight fever, so I slept for almost the whole day. I'm feeling so much better now! Thanks to green tea with maple syrup and honey.

So here are the face products I bought when I was in Seattle last week.
L'oreal Go 360 Clean.($7.99)

I was really curious on how this works. I love how it comes with the rubber face scrub(shown below). I can't do a review on this yet because I haven't tried it yet. My sister tried this and said that it made her face really DRY. Yikes! that's not a good thing is it!? It's not good to give a false review right? So watch out for my own review of this face product if you are interested.

Sonia Kashuk REMOVE Eye Makeup Remover($9.99)

I think I saw Elle(Allthatglitters21) talk about this and I really need an oil-based makeup remover, so when I went down to Seattle this is the first thing on my list. I originally wanted the Clinique one(purple bottle/blue bottle), but it's expensive, so opted for this one instead.
My Review- It works better than Clinique and the price is BETTER than the Clinique one too. You need to shake the bottle very well in order for the water and oil to mix. This eye makeup remover performs just as well as the high end oil-based ones I have used (Clarins, Estee Lauder, Clinique), at a fraction of the price. It effectively removes all traces of my long wearing makeup. Highly recommended!

PROS:
- oil-based
- not expensive
- removes eye makeup in a swipe
- removes waterproof makeup

CONS:
- hard to find in Canada(bought mine at Target)

Aveeno Active Naturals- Positively Radiant Daily Cleansing Pads. (28 pads $7.95)
smooth side
rough side
My Review- If you ask me I love my Neutrogena wipes better. This product has a rough exfoliating side and a smooth side as well. I only use this TWICE a WEEK. I first wet my face and then use the rough side and scrub my face GENTLY, then I use the smooth side of the pad and then finally, wash my entire face with water. It does TAKE OFF makeup and it also REMOVE waterproof mascaras and liners, but everytime I use this, it makes my face DRY.

PROS:
- smells good
- exfoliates the face
- comes with a smooth side and a rough side

CONS:
- dried my face out
- only comes with 28 pads
- I recommend NOT to use this DAILY

Wet Look comb(I forgot how much this is, but I'm pretty sure it's less than $5)

Best comb for wet hair because of the large teeth. I highly Recommend this one. I have nothing bad to say about this. It's just perfect. :)
PROS:
- pretty colors
- large teeth
- makes the hair smooth after combing it

CONS:
- hard to find here in Canada(bough it at Sally's Beauty Supply Store in Seattle)

Remember: DO NOT brush your hair with a small teeth comb because it will DAMAGE your hair. Always use a large teeth comb like this one. Goody sells nice large teeth combs too.

- other colors available

All in all, I highly recommend the Sonia Kashuk Eye Makeup Remover and the Wet Look comb.

What have you guys been diggin' on lately? Any new buys?

xoxo, Kim

  1. I haven't tried a lot of make up remover but the one I tried from Nivea irritates my eyes which really suck..so I am stuck with my Simple make up remover wipes. :) I wish they sell the make up remover here but sadly they don't make it pass the oceans :P And I got this wide teeth comb brush for cheap and it has flowers on it!

  4. i have the L'Oreal 360 Aprioct Scrub one, and i use it once in a while (like an exfoliant) i like the way it smells, but if you have sensitive skin/becomes dry easily, i would use to very rarely. it's not strong, but it really cleans your face (if that makes sense!)
those wide tooth combs are adorable! i too use one on my wet hair :)
