A Review: Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock with SPF 70

Go out and have fun

Summer is here, now it's time to go enjoy the sun. Before leaving the house it is recommended by a lot of dermatologists to apply sunblock 15-30 mins before you leave the house. This summer , sunscreens with SPF 70 hits the market. The fair-skinned people out ther like me, might be tempted to take this as an open invitation to slather some on, hop on to your nearest beach and stay under the sun for 8-10 hours, but not getting burned. Who ould stay under the sun for that long tho? haha. The higher the SPF number, the better it is.

I saw this one at my local drugstore, and thought that I would give it a try. I bought the smaller version of it. It is intended for oily and dry skin. Thats a plus for me because i have super dry skin and have sun spots on my face.

Neutrogena products work well for me. From their make-up remover wipes to their facial wash. They didn't irritate my skin at all. Im impressed! So I gave this a try and I would now declare this as my favourite sunscreen.

What is Helioplex?

-> Is a type of sun protection that provides broad spectrum for the skin. This guards the skin from UVA and UVB sun rays. Neutrogena developed the Helioplex technology in 2005. It was first seen with the Ultra Sheer line of sunblock with SPF 55.

so on with my review..

MY THOUGHTS:

I really like this sunscreen because of its SPF 70 which is pretty good for a sunscreen. It claims that it is weightless and it leaves a soft feeling to the face and body. They are right with that because when i applied it on my fingers it was pretty thick, but as I gently applied it to my face it smooths out pretty good. It leaves me a natural glow and it doesn't have any smell that normal sunscreens do. I've been using this for about two weeks now, and I'm really impressed with the result. My mom actually complimented my skin because it looks glowy and healthy from a far. You need to reapply every sunblock every hour if you are in direct sunlight.
overall. I do recommend this sunblock to anyone whether you have dry or oily skin.
score: 9/10

  1. Great review, you guys in the US & Canada have much better sunscreen than we do in the UK, I've never found one with SPF 70! x
